Insight images is a professional photography business, established in 2008 after I had been a professional photographer at the University of Manchester for 14 years. My specialist areas include architecture, artworks, museum exhibits, gallery artefacts, commercial product photography and construction sites.
As you’d expect from a service with more than twenty years of digital imaging experience I have technical ability and a professional approach: What I also offer is a willingness to listen; to form a dialogue that seeks to understand what you want to show and who you are communicating that vision to: on time and within your budget. This collaboration is at the heart of engaging with customers’ requirements, without which they cannot be satisfied. It is this combination of understanding, collaboration and experience, particularly within my specialist areas, that led to the name insight images.
I am based in Stockport, near Manchester, working throughout the North West of England, but happy to travel further afield by negotiation.
I have been a part-time tutor for the Open College of the Arts photography degree www.oca.ac.uk since 2007.
I have had work exhibited at the following locations: National Media Museum, Bradford; AOP Gallery, London; Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool; CUBE Gallery, Manchester; Harris Art Gallery Preston; Viewpoint, Salford; The Octagon, Bath; Gallery Oldham; City Gallery, Leicester, Lytham Heritage Centre, Lancashire.
Previous clients include: Manchester Museum, English Heritage, The Whitworth Art Gallery, BBC, Rough Guides, Bradt Guides, Lowry Galleries and Manchester Airport.
